The relationship between mental toughness with decision-making accuracy: The mediating role of gender

Introduction: Decision-making is one of the key factors that are highly associated with psychological factors. However, there few studies on relationship between this variable and mental toughness. Aim: The purpose study was to investigate toughness decision-making accuracy considering mediating role gender. Method: present a descriptive correlational study. statistical population included all futsal referees in country's first division 2020-2021, 123 individuals were voluntarily selected as sample. Spitz & et al. (2018) Decision Accuracy Test Clough (2002) Mental Toughness Questionnaire used collect data. Finally, examine variables, Pearson correlation, regression independent t-test, SPSS version 21 software used. Results: results showed positive significant decision (r=0.32, P=0.001). Also, components challenge, commitment, emotional control, life control (P<0.05). A multiple test influenced by (B=0.030), difference men women (t=3.81, P<0.001), but not (P>0.05). Conclusion: presence indicates improves increasing Therefore, it suggested can be an effective method improve cognitive performance.
